I want to find a job!

A modular support program  designed for you who are stuck in your job search

This program is made for you if you:

You feel as though you have lost part or all your identity by transitioning from being a successful professional to unemployed. You need to re-center yourself and have a plan to move forward in the right direction.

You know that you need to make some adjustments in your applications and job search strategy and don’t kow where to start

Your self-confidence suffers. It could come from having no clarity, getting job rejections, or any other reasons.  You need a boost to show your best side in an interview or when expanding your network.

It’s been a while since you’ve updated your resume or LinkedIn profile, and you’re feeling a little behind the curve on new trends and what makes an effective digital presence. You want to be selected for an interview or attract the interest of recruiters but you are unsure of the best way to proceed.

No doubt about this: taking care of your network is crucial. Over 70 % of jobs are found through it. You certainly need some tips on how to grow yours, how to build one and how to use it. You might be introvert or shy. It does not matter, you can learn the tricks to overcome this obstacle.

You don’t like your old job anymore. You would like to examine the possibility of retraining but in what? You might have any idea on the subject or it still remains foggy.

You have sent some applications, maybe were invited to some job interviews. Still, after some months, still no job offers! You wonder if it will be useful to get an honest feedback on your LinkedIn profile and your search approaches.

What will change for you ?

By the end of the program, you will have made great strides towards greater clarity, self-confidence and the motivation to make the necessary changes

You get clear about your career goals, the role which best fits who you are and what you need at this stage in your life.

You have a strategy, an action plan and full trust in your skills and capabilities

You don’t want the coaching to remain a concept. You jump into action and implement the changes you want in your life

Isabelle’s coaching has enabled me to find words that describe my priorities, a strategy to help me achieve my goals, as well as the energy to overcome obstacles along the way. I recommend her for her professionalism.

Anne Schnell, UPK, Basel

Isabelle is a very sensitive, thought provoking, motivational and professional Life Coach. She really helped me to get on the right path with regard to a goal I had been struggling to achieve. Jennifer Willi

The 3 pillars of the support

Belief in your abilities to change and remain motivated

Tools and advices on how to better communicate about who you are and what you do

Practice to learn and reach your goal

How the coaching works ?

During our first exchange, we will clarify the overall goals you want to reach and the conditions for an optimal collaboration. I will advice you on the services which match your needs and I will explain you how a coaching session is run and what you can expect from working with me. After this, you will decide if we are a good fit and if you want to pursue with me.

For 1  to 2 hours, you talk to me about your situation and where do you want to focus our attention. From there, we design together the steps that will mark out the coaching sessions.  At the end of the session,  with your agreement, you will leave with one or several tasks to accomplish before we meet next.

The analysis of the current situation makes it possible to identify energizing factors and energy thieves, which makes it possible to prioritize and direct the work to come.

The identification of strengths and talents is based on the synthesis of parameters such as strong interests, gifts and skills perceived by the client and his entourage. I also use MBTI personality test.

The life mission makes it possible to put clear words on what drives you and on what one wants to be recognized for. Once defined, it can change over time but remains a good anchor to hold when life distracts us from our goals or when difficulties emerge.

Why mentor and coaching are complementary?2021-05-28T12:29:48+00:00

Why are mentoring and coaching complementary?

Sometimes I hear from clients that they had a mentor, who gave them valuable advice and information, but did not help them reach their goal.

Do you know why?

Well, because the real agent of change is YOU and no one else. You can get all the advice in the world, no one knows better than you what is right for you and how you can best serve the people and causes you believe in.

And there’s more. You may have a strong will and ability. You probably also have a bunch of negative voices telling you that you are NOT smart, experienced, connected, confident, knowledgeable, etc. enough, and you find all sorts of strategies to keep you from moving forward and getting results.

So what does a coach bring to you that a mentor won’t necessarily ?

A coach is there to help you bring out the best in yourself, the vibrant, wise, strong and courageous part of you that you have always been.

Without your bothering negatives voices.

Together, we will learn to listen to your inner strength, without ignoring the wise advice of experts, giving you the confidence to make the right choices.

Why can’t I get my message out?2021-05-28T12:27:27+00:00

You’re letting your inner critic get the better of you. There are approaches that allow you to thwart it. You can’t avoid it, but you can learn to tame it so that in time it becomes less dominant, allowing your will, your beliefs and your actions to take the place they deserve.

How can I get a clear strategy for the next 5 years?2021-05-28T12:28:59+00:00

Many people feel the need to have a medium and long term plan. This is a good thing, but it can only be a guideline. For 1) the world is *VUCA 2) unforeseen personal events may occur 3) your wants and needs may change. Together, we can make a forward plan with possible options consistent with your life mission.

*VUCA: Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambigous
